They say this as if telling people the best ways to teach leads to better teaching

By the same analogy, the books I've collected on my shelves should lead to me being a more knowledgeable person. Unfortunately, it doesn't work like that. Let's take learning styles as an example. What we prefer is neither fixed for all time nor always what is best for us.

Norine:
My 23 year old punched her sister so hard in the face it knocked out her two front teeth.

My daughter and her 16 year old sister got into a fist fight.

Norine:
Two more months go by and things still were not getting better, in fact they got worse.

She has told me that she dosen't have to do anything because it's not her house.

Norine:
She was bringing her boyfriend over doing the nasty. constantly fighting with her siblings, and refusing to do anything I asked her such as doing thee dishes, mowing the grass, and doing the laundry.

Within a couple months, the move in turned into a complete disaster.

I told her that she can come back and live with us, which she agreed to.

Norine:
Anyway my daughter had recently graduated from the University of Michigan that December.

Norine:
My 23 year old daughter came to live with me, my husband and my two children who are 16 and 14. I also have a 20 year old who lives in Florida where he attends the University of Florida.
